Types of Trees
We grow six varieties of trees in our field and four (Fraser, Douglas, White & Scotch) in our fresh cut lot. Choose the variety that fits your home and decorating style.
Concolor Fir
Bluish-green needles are 1-2 inch long and tend to curve up. Very dense appearance. Has a citrus orange fragrance.
Douglas Fir
Has dense, soft, dark green needles that radiate out from the branches in all directions. Very fragrant.
Fraser Fir
Have soft needles with an attractive silvery blue-green look. Strong branches and good needle retention. Most fragrant of pines.
White Pine
Has long, soft, light green needles. Good needle retention. Not recommended for heavy ornaments.
Scotch Pine
Dark green needles and sturdy branches. Will retain needles with care.
Blue Spruce
Strongest branches for heavy ornaments. Short sharp blue or green needles. Poor needle retention. Not recommended for long duration in the home.
